Thanks to the Asus PCI-Express Thunderbolt EX3 expansion card, you can now take advantage of the incredible speed of Thunderbolt 3, even if your computer does not normally support it. The Asus card not only provides a Thunderbolt port but also a USB 3.1 port (Type A) with a fast data transfer rate of 10 Gbps. By using the mini DisplayPort connection that you can connect to your graphics card, you can even run a monitor with a 4K resolution at 60 Hz through the Thunderbolt 3 interface.
