To accommodate such powerful components, both the chassis and the motherboard of the Strix SCAR 16 have been designed to house ASUS heat sinks across their entire width, while the copper fins have been positioned even closer to the exhaust vents for more efficient cooling. This unique heat sink consists of three different sections and surrounds the motherboard with densely packed ribs for a total surface area of 174,183 mm², an increase of 62.59% compared to the Strix SCAR 15 2022. This design maximizes the available path for hot air to escape from the machine and drastically enhances overall cooling.
