Inspired by the 20th-century Space Race, the Flow Z13 features numerous retro-futuristic elements. Spaceship-like designs have been directly integrated into the lightweight and robust aluminum alloy of the chassis. Prior to this, there were numerous attempts using 39 different processes, including 10 precision CNC cuts and two anodized layers, until the unique finish with alloy 6063 was established, reminiscent of the golden age of space travel. Thanks to the premium anti-fingerprint coating and easy cleaning, the Flow Z13 looks as good as new even after extensive use.

The CNC-milled window on the underside of the chassis provides a view of the motherboard, allowing for more space for the components underneath than traditional designs. This futuristic opening not only showcases the integrated RGB lighting beautifully but also enables chip components to be placed on both sides of the motherboard due to the increased space. Larger components, combined with the double-sided motherboard, allow for significantly higher performance than conventional 13" devices.
