Product details
The Asus 4G-AC53U supports the latest mobile broadband internet with LTE Cat 6, which combines two mobile frequencies to achieve download speeds of up to 300 Mbps—twice as fast as LTE Cat 4 and seven times faster than 3G (HSPA+)—allowing you to share even the largest files effortlessly and stream 4K UHD videos with ease. With the super-fast 733 Mbps 802.11ac Wi-Fi, wireless speeds are achieved that are up to twice as high as the 802.11n standard.
Family comes first. The Wi-Fi pause feature disables internet access for a while—perfect for when you want to spend time with your family.
4G LTE and Gigabit Dual WAN network support for uninterrupted connections. In addition to the 4G LTE functionality, a dedicated Gigabit LAN port can be used as a wired backup internet connection in case the 4G LTE connection fails (failover). Once the 4G connection is available again, the device automatically switches back (failback). This means outstanding flexibility for use at home or in the office—never be without an internet connection again.
Easy plug-and-surf in just 3 steps. It only takes three steps to connect with the 4G-AC53U:
1. Simply insert a 4G LTE SIM or Mini-SIM card (not included) and turn on the 4G-AC53U. It will then automatically connect to the appropriate mobile network.
2. Next, just open a browser window and follow the simple setup wizard to complete the installation.
3. Connected.
