Assassin/'s Creed: The Magus Conspiracy

The war between Assassins and Templars wreaks havoc in the Victorian era. London, 1851: When Pierette, a daring acrobat performing at the World Exhibition, saves mathematician Ada Lovelace from a gang of thugs, she becomes embroiled in the ancient feud between Assassins and Templars. However, Lovelace is gravely ill. She confides her secrets to Pierette and sends the acrobat on a quest for a terrible weapon - the machine of history - that she has developed for a mysterious figure known as "the Magus." Pierette's only ally is Simeon Price, Lovelace's childhood friend, who belongs to a brotherhood dedicated to freedom. With Simeon's help, she uncovers a stunning web of political assassinations that is destabilizing Europe. As they attempt to thwart the Templars' deadly plot, murders and bombings occur everywhere, but hope is nowhere in sight.
