The HPE Aruba Networking CX 8100 Series meets the demands of modern campus core and aggregation, as well as dynamic top-of-rack (ToR) data center environments, offering a flexible and innovative approach to meet the application, security, and scalability requirements of mobile, cloud, and IoT. The HPE CX 8100 switches are based on AOS-CX, a modern software system that automates and simplifies critical and complex network tasks, is programmable with REST APIs and Python scripts, and provides improved fault tolerance and uninterrupted operation at the control level during planned or unplanned events. Each switch also offers network-wide transparency and real-time analytics capabilities. The series includes industry-leading line-rate ports with 1/10GbE (SFP/SFP+) and 40/100GbE (QSFP+/QSFP28) connectivity in a compact 1U form factor, featuring 4x10 Gbit/s and 4x25 Gbit/s with breakout cables for 40/100-G.
