For our DIY enthusiasts: 4Pin Molex connector. This connector can be used to replace defective connectors. It can also serve as a basis for creating Y-splitters or extensions in your system without much effort. If you want to tidy up your system to optimize airflow or improve cable management, this DIY connector is essential. You can shorten excessively long cables and reconnect them to fit your system using this connector. Additionally, by bending the connection cables, you can reduce the output voltage from 12 to 7 or even 5 volts without the need for an adapter. This is particularly interesting when operating fans that should run a bit slower and therefore quieter.

Installation is incredibly easy. The connector is sent in 2 components: the plastic connector itself and the pins used to make the connection. Simply insert a stripped cable end into the pins. At the other end of the pins, the cable is secured by squeezing the ends together with pliers. This completed pin can then be inserted into the plastic connector, where it clicks into place and holds securely.
