The Light Dome SE is the perfect light modifier for creating interviews and portrait photography. When attached to a Bowens mount point light source such as the Aputure Light Storm series or the Amaran 100 and 200 COB series lights, it transforms any harsh light source into beautiful, soft light.
When filming faces, achieving a soft light quality is key to making any subject look flattering. With its large diameter of 33.5 inches, the Light Dome SE produces stunning, soft light specifically designed to cover your subject, hide imperfections, and make everyone on camera look breathtaking.
To be creative, an artist needs options. The Light Dome SE includes two types of diffusion fabric: a light (1.5 stops) and a heavy (2.5 stops), allowing the user to choose the perfect degree of softness for any subject being filmed. The Light Dome SE is also compatible with the Light Dome II, as it features a fabric light control grid that allows you to direct your soft light.
