Aputure Light Dome III

Ideal for portraits, interviews, professional film shoots, and facial shots. The full silver coating enhances the output strength for greater control over the light source. The Deep Dome design (24" deep) provides a tighter, more focused beam. The unique double-diffuser design ensures an even distribution of light across the entire field. The large 34.8" outer diffuser increases the beam size, creating a softer and more flattering light. Smooth, round, hexagonal light output creates beautiful catchlights.

Delivered with 2 different thicknesses of outer diffuser fabric, allowing the user to achieve varying softness (1.5 stop and 2.5 stop brightness). Redesigned with 16 rods made of wear-resistant steel construction for quick setup by one person. Includes a honeycomb grid attachment that helps control the spread of light by 40 degrees. Also included is a gel holder for filmmakers to create vibrant colors. The Aputure Light Dome III is the flagship among softboxes for Aputure's Bowens-mount lights. It features the same round shape of 90 cm (3 feet) and a quickly foldable, flat design.

With this softbox, film and photography professionals can create stunningly soft light while saving valuable time on set and space in their kits. The biggest difference between the Light Dome III and the Light Dome Mini III compared to their second-generation counterparts is the quick-release ring that allows them to fold flat. Additionally, the Light Domes can be set up and collapsed in seconds thanks to the quick-release mechanism.
