Product details

The 45-watt MagSafe Power Adapter for MacBook Air features a magnetic DC connector that automatically disconnects the cable from the computer in case of excessive strain. This prevents damage to the cable and computer. The magnetic connector also makes it easy to connect to the system and provides a fast, secure connection.

If the connection is correct, an LED indicator on the plug will light up. A yellow indicator shows that your notebook is charging, a green indicator shows that the battery is fully charged. The power supply unit is supplied with a power cord. The mains wall plug (also included) allows easy mains connection even when you are on the move.

The power adapter has been redesigned specifically for MacBook Air. Its clever design with a cord wrap makes it easy to store and perfect for travel.

The AC adapter charges the lithium polymer battery while the system is on, off or in sleep mode. It also supplies power to the computer when you want to use it without the battery.
