Product details
The PD100 is a replica of a well-known search and rescue drone used by many organizations. This model impresses not only with its robust construction but also with its detailed appearance. The rotor head is supported by a precise stabilization system, providing the drone with a completely new control experience thanks to auto takeoff and auto landing. With the innovative electronics, even beginners can now fly such a model without extensive prior knowledge. The PD100 starts at the push of a button on the handy 2.4 GHz transmitter with metal sticks and automatically hovers to a certain altitude. There, the drone remains in altitude-hold mode, allowing the pilot to focus entirely on the essential functions without having to monitor the flight height simultaneously. The gyro system also controls the tail rotor, keeping the model stable in the air. For more agility in flight, three speed levels are available, appealing to both beginners and advanced users alike. Thus, the PD100 is also suitable for outdoor use in light winds and achieves high speeds in forward flight. To land, the takeoff/landing button on the transmitter can be pressed again: the model gently descends to the ground. The motor features soft start and soft cut. This means that during startup, the rotor gradually spins up, preventing the model from spinning around its own axis. The same applies during landing: the rotor gradually slows down, and the motor is automatically shut off. As an additional safety feature, the PD100 has a voltage monitoring system that continuously checks the battery during flight. When the base voltage is reached, the LED lighting starts to blink, signaling that it is time to land as soon as possible. If the pilot does not respond, the system will autonomously take over the landing to protect the battery. The PD100 is nearly ready for use right out of the box.
