With this App-Direct Mode, music playback from many iPhone apps through the vehicle's speakers is enabled while simultaneously charging your smartphone – this is particularly useful when using internet radio or navigation apps. Many of these functions for iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 can be easily controlled via Siri's voice command. The same functions are also available for Android smartphones with voice control capabilities.
