Due to the widespread use of smartphones and tablets, the need for user-friendly mobile charging on the road has arisen. The Powerconverter chargers can be easily installed in any vehicle, allowing the driver and passengers easy access to power for charging through a USB cable. All versions in the series can be connected directly to 12VDC and 24VDC without prior adjustment. The advanced electronic design automatically detects whether the device is Apple or Android configured and adjusts the charging process accordingly. This ensures that any connected device, whether Apple, Android, iPad, mobile phone, or tablet, is charged as fully as time and capacity allow.

These units have been designed to meet stringent standards for onboard commercial vehicle installations, including BS EN50498 and ISO 7637-2, as well as CE and E certifications. The enclosures are V0 rated (self-extinguishing) impact-resistant polycarbonate, and the electronic manufacture is predominantly computer-controlled SMT for maximum reliability. All versions have a discreet blue LED to indicate your location in the vehicle.
