Akyga AK-EC-20

The Akyga® AK-EC-20 is a British charger for electric vehicles, designed for use in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It features a BS 1363 (G) plug, also known as a British plug, making it fully compatible with the electrical systems in these countries.

The AK-EC-20 EV charger is equipped with the popular IEC 62196-2 Type 2 connector, also known as Mennekes. This is the most widely used EV charging standard in the European market, ensuring compatibility with almost all available electric vehicles. Additionally, user convenience is enhanced by the 5-meter long cable, which allows for easy connection to a power source.

At the heart of the charger is the ControlBox, which provides information on the current charging status and displays important data such as charging current, voltage, energy consumption, device temperature, and charging time on the LCD screen. The device features an adjustable charging current that can be set to 8 A, 10 A, or 13 A, allowing for adaptation to the capabilities of the electrical installation and the specifications of the vehicle.

The AK-EC-20 charger is designed for efficient operation even under challenging conditions, as confirmed by its IP54 protection rating. Its robust construction ensures protection against contaminants and moisture, which is crucial for safety and long-term use.
