Akyga AK-EC-10

The Akyga® AK-EC-10 adapter is used to convert a European Type 2 plug into an American Type 1 plug. It is a handy 0.5 m long cable that will save you in many situations. Cars that are charged via a Type 1 socket are becoming less popular in Europe, so this plug is not always available at public charging stations. In this case, you can charge your car with the Type 2 to Type 1 adapter using a standard Type 2 plug (IEC 62196-2). This allows the owner of an imported car to utilize most EVSE charging stations. Additionally, the adapter supports fast charging with a current of 32 A, thanks to the thick copper wires and robust plugs.
