Product details

With the Premium Riser Cable Riser Black X2 from Akasa, the PCI Express x16 slot available on a motherboard can be strategically positioned elsewhere in or outside the case. This is particularly useful when frequently swapping different graphics cards, as it helps prevent damage to the board slot or provides more space during the installation of expansion cards.

In modding projects or in cases that deviate from the standard ATX format, it may also be necessary or advantageous to place PCI Express expansion cards in unconventional locations. A special benefit of a riser cable is the ability to position graphics cards vertically, allowing them to be mounted parallel to the motherboard. This way, the cooler of the card can be fully showcased.
