Akasa 15-pin SATA

If the new graphics card has a 6+2-pin PCIe socket that exceeds the number of connections provided by your power supply, an appropriate adapter is needed to connect to the PCIe plug. A well-known adapter version is often included with graphics cards, which converts two Molex connectors to PCIe. Akasa offers something more unique with the present product. Here, the power for the graphics card comes from two power connections of the power supply that would otherwise supply SATA drives. Two 15-pin SATA connectors are thus converted to 6+2-pin PCIe. This is especially practical when no Molex connectors are available.
