Aeronaut Z-Spinner 35mm

The spinner series for aerodynamic peak performance.

The Z-spinners combine the advantages of the CN-spinners (Cool Nose with cooling air openings) and the angled Z-spacers. The angled aluminum spacers allow the folding propeller blades to sit even closer to the fuselage, resulting in reduced air resistance during gliding. The spinners with the spacers are designed for sleek electric glider fuselages but can also provide benefits when used with wooden fuselages built in box construction, provided they are rounded.

The spacers for spinner sizes 32-42 mm are interchangeable, allowing for example, 38 mm spinner caps to be used with the spacer of the 42 mm spinners. This combination potential offers further optimization possibilities, enabling finer tuning to the respective fuselage. The 30 mm spinner has its own spacer, which is not compatible with the other spinner caps.

The Z-spinner includes a spinner cap (diameter 30 mm) made of white plastic (very paintable), a machined aluminum spacer with an integrated mount for the tension cone, a special prop rubber for folding the propeller blades, and mounting screws for the spinner cap and propeller blades.

The diameter of the spinner cap is 35 mm. The distance between the axes (d) for this spinner is 32 mm. This means that the diameter of the propeller blades is reduced by 10 mm. For example, a propeller with a 12-inch diameter effectively has a diameter of 11.61 inches with this spacer (the size specifications for folding propellers always refer to the use of a spacer with an axis distance of d=42 mm).
