With the mobile energy station JS 15, AEG provides an important helper for emergency situations in the vehicle. The purpose of such energy stations is to jump-start vehicles on the road. A flat starter battery is probably the most common cause of a broken-down vehicle. With the mobile energy station from AEG, drivers can help themselves in such situations. The device comes with connection terminals for the vehicle battery and is connected directly to it. It provides a current of 400A for starting the vehicle, and even a peak current of 1500A for 3 seconds. This is sufficient for emergency starting petrol engines with a capacity of up to 4.0 litres and diesel vehicles with a capacity of up to 2.0 litres. The output voltage is 12 V. This means that the AEG energy station is compatible with all vehicles that have this voltage. These include cars, vans, quads, many motorbikes and even boats. The battery has a capacity of 3x 4000 mAh / 44.4 Wh. A high-quality lithium-ion battery is used, which can withstand up to 1,000 charging cycles. This can be conveniently charged via USB, via the cigarette lighter in the vehicle or with a conventional mains adapter at a socket. Under optimum conditions, the battery is fully charged again within 6 to 9 hours. The Mini Jumpstarter is also a power bank. A USB output is available for this purpose. This can be used to charge your smartphone, camera and other mobile devices while on the move. Wireless charging is also possible on the support surface with a maximum output of 10 W. An LED light with a light intensity of 70 lumens is also integrated into the energy station. A storage bag that protects the energy station is also included in the scope of delivery. The weight of the Mini Jumpstarter is 523 g and its dimensions are 190 x 85 x 28.5 mm (L x W x H).
