The AEG Workshop Charger WM 6 is a powerful, fully automatic microprocessor-controlled charger with an auto-start function, suitable for all common 6- and 12-volt batteries. It features a maximum charging current of 12 V/6 A and a reduced charging current of 2 A for gentle charging of small battery capacities. The maintenance charging function (2 A) is ideal for seasonal vehicles such as classic cars, convertibles, and motorcycles. The fully automatic, microprocessor-controlled charger does not require manual termination of the charging process. The charger is switchable and includes insulated battery clamps, a robust metal housing with an integrated carrying handle, and a charging status indicator. The LED display shows the charging mode, reverse polarity, and battery faults. The AEG Workshop Charger WM 6 can be used in a temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C and is complemented by safety features such as overcharge and short-circuit protection.
