Advantech ADAM-4017-F

The ADAM-4017 is a 16-bit analog input module with 8 channels that offers programmable input ranges for all channels. This module is a highly cost-effective solution for industrial measurement and monitoring applications. Its opto-isolated inputs provide 3000 VDC isolation between the analog input and the module, protecting the module and peripherals from damage due to high input voltages. The ADAM-4017 offers signal conditioning, A/D conversion, measurement range, and digital RS-485 communication functions. The module protects your devices from ground loops and surges by providing opto-isolation of the A/D input and transformer isolation up to 3000 VDC. The ADAM-4017 uses a microprocessor-controlled 16-bit sigma-delta A/D converter to convert sensor voltage or current into digital data. The digital data is then converted into engineering units.
