ISO adapter cables are used for the passive connection of retrofit devices to the factory plugs present in the radio installation slot. Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the following signals are provided:

• 12V continuous current
• 12V ignition
• Ground
• Light
• Antenna remote
• Loudspeaker connection for front and rear loudspeakers

For vehicles with different equipment, signals that are not available may have to be connected to suitable tapping points in the vehicle (e.g., fuse box) or additional adaptations/interfaces may have to be used:

• CAN bus interfaces
• LFB interfaces
• Amplified system adapter
• Camera adapter.
