Product details

This HiFi connection converts steering wheel buttons into signals that can be interpreted by an aftermarket car radio. This allows the factory controls to remain usable even with a new audio system. It connects to the vehicle's original wiring harness via a custom plug specifically designed for selected Nissan models, eliminating the need for any modifications to the factory wiring. During installation, the adapter assigns the resistors and communication lines of the OEM control to the standard interface of compatible car radios from Blaupunkt, Bosch, and Clarion, while maintaining the connection to any existing external phone module. Typically, this connection is used in workshops or by experienced DIY enthusiasts who want to upgrade a factory radio while retaining steering wheel remote control and phone integration.
