Thanks to its extensive functionality, the Acus One for Street 8 Wood offers numerous application possibilities, as an exchangeable, optionally available 18V battery enables independent operation. In addition to a high-resolution 8" speaker, the sturdy plywood housing also accommodates a 1" tweeter, which enriches the sound image with fine treble frequencies. As a result, both instruments and vocals are perfectly emphasized and reproduced in a differentiated and clear manner. Each of the three separately adjustable channels contains its own reverb effect, which gives the sound a pleasant width. In addition, a third-party source, such as a tablet or smartphone, can be connected via Bluetooth as well as via an aux-in.

Channels and connections

To adjust the channels to the respective instrument or microphone, they include a separate equalizer. This offers the option of individually adjusting the treble, mid, and bass frequencies. The first, second, and third channels all have a 6.3 mm jack input so that, for example, three instruments can be connected simultaneously. In addition, the first and second channels have an XLR input that can be used to connect a microphone instead of an additional instrument. The intensity of the integrated reverb effect can also be adjusted via an additional control for each channel.

Further options

There is a USB and a 3.5 mm stereo jack input on the back of the device, which can also be used to connect external devices such as a smartphone or tablet. If you want to go wireless, you can also control the amplifier via Bluetooth. The volume of the input signal can be adjusted to the general volume using an independent control. At the same time, the entire sound image can be forwarded to an external system or a recording device via a D.I.-Out.
