Acer Switch Alpha 12

The Acer Aspire Switch Alpha 12 is a powerful all-round tablet that can be used as a productive notebook at any time with the provided docking keyboard. Even with the keyboard, this compact device weighs only 1.2 kg and offers a battery life of up to 8 hours, making it extremely mobile. An Active Stylus Pen is included, allowing for precise input, notes, sketches, and drawings on the touch screen.

The slim housing features a sixth-generation Core i5 processor with an integrated graphics solution and 8 GB of RAM, enabling it to handle everyday office and web applications, as well as more sophisticated graphics and multimedia tasks. A fast SSD with 256 GB of storage provides noticeably accelerated system and program starts. Additionally, the device operates silently: the built-in processor is fanless, and the SSD contains no moving parts.

The sixth-generation Intel Core processors (Skylake) combine the high performance of the fourth generation with the economical 14 nm architecture of the fifth generation. They support faster DDR4 memory and additional PCIe 3.0 lanes. The integrated graphics core enhances performance for demanding 3D and graphics applications thanks to DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.4. Turbo Boost technology accelerates demanding applications and dynamically adjusts performance to your needs, providing more or less power as required.

With the WLAN module featuring the 802.11ac standard, connecting to local wireless networks is straightforward and fast. Data can also be exchanged directly with other mobile devices via Bluetooth 4.0. For peripherals and storage media, you can use either the full-size USB 3.0 port (Type A) or the high-speed USB 3.1 port in the new Type C form factor, which supports high-resolution external displays. The MicroSD card reader allows for memory expansion as well.
