Practical installation without the need to drill into the window or frame: The ABUS SW20 window additional lock features a solid steel bolt that is inserted from above, locks into place, and thus blocks the window sash. No key is required for either locking or unlocking. Installation is done exclusively on the masonry, making it ideal for rental apartments. The SW20 is used on the handle side of windows made of aluminum, wood, or plastic. The hinge side should be secured separately.
