Power can be supplied via network cable from a router or recorder, making Power over Ethernet (PoE) especially useful in hard-to-reach installation locations, thereby saving installation costs.

Efficient setup and smart video surveillance.

The surveillance camera automatically distinguishes between people and vehicles, storing and reporting only what users are interested in. This, combined with strong data compression, ensures very efficient storage usage on recorders, NAS, or microSD cards. The setup process is streamlined: the camera's user interface can be quickly accessed via a PC browser or recorder monitor, and with the ABUS IP Installer, the first live image can be viewed in just a few minutes. Individual settings, such as schedules and privacy zones, can also be configured quickly.

Strong WDR function and IR LEDs for sharp images at all times.

The IP camera handles fluctuating lighting conditions well, such as strong backlighting in entry areas or generally outdoors (WDR 120 dB). It also features infrared LEDs for good visibility in the dark.

Mobile app access.

With the ABUS Link Station app, users receive a push notification for motion alarms. The Pro version of the app offers unlimited mobile access. The Lite version is free: up to 60 minutes of data streaming monthly, live view, and playback.
