F200 type B for smooth DC residual currents and operational safety

Residual current circuit-breakers (RCCBs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. The residual current circuit-breakers of the F200 B series guarantee protection for sinusoidal AC currents, pulsating currents and smooth DC residual currents to earth. As well as fault protection (protection in case of indirect contact), additional protection (with IΔn ≤ 30 mA) and fire protection (with I∆n ≤ 300 mA). They comply with the product standards for type A IEC/EN 61008-1, 61008-2-1, 61543 (VDE 0664 10, 11, 30) and type B DIN EN 62423 (VDE 0664-40).

The RCCB type B is suitable for non-linear circuits that can generate residual currents with smooth DC residual currents and with a wide range of (high/)frequencies. The RCCB type B have a frequency range of 0...2 kHz for detecting the residual current and offer high system availability.
