These transformers are conditionally short-circuit proof. They are equipped with a thermal protection device that automatically restores power when the transformer has cooled down sufficiently. They are ideal for continuous power supply to measuring devices, electronic auxiliary devices (e.g., measurement, video door intercoms, BUS communication), and low-voltage circuits (SELV) for bathrooms and showers, lighting, fountains, electro-medical devices, and similar applications.
