The multi-lane SATA cable and connection system is fast, secure, simple, and organized. It combines the four SATA ports of the RAID controller into a single, locked connection. Four channels with 3 Gb/s or 6 Gb/s SATA traffic run over just one cable from the RAID controller to the system backplane or to up to four hard drives with a splitter cable.
