The 3M 5451 PTFE glass cloth tape is a 3.2 mil thick brown tape that has been impregnated with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene). Thanks to its extremely low moisture absorption, the tape can be used in humid environments. The reinforced non-woven base provides increased resistance to wear, tearing, and puncturing. It is adaptable for wrapping rolling surfaces and in spiral patterns. The silicone adhesive ensures long-lasting and strong holding power across a wide operating range. The thick PTFE coating offers an exceptionally smooth, non-stick, low-friction surface.
