The PTFE glass fabric tape 3M 5451 is a 3.2 mil thick brown fabric tape that has been impregnated with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene). Due to its extremely low moisture absorption, the tape can be used in humid environments. The reinforced non-woven base provides increased resistance to abrasion, tearing, and puncturing. It is adaptable for wrapping around rolling surfaces and in spiral patterns. The silicone adhesive ensures long-lasting and strong adhesion across a wide operating range. The thick PTFE coating offers an exceptionally smooth, non-stick, low-friction surface.
