The 3M Heat Shrink Repair Sleeves HDCW are designed for the quick and secure repair of damaged cable sheaths of low and medium voltage cables. The inner side is coated with a hot melt adhesive, providing a waterproof seal on all plastic and metal sheaths. An outer coating with temperature indicator paint on the sleeve signals the end of the shrinking process through a color change. A stainless steel strip serves as a closure, which can be removed after the sleeve has cooled. The repair sleeve is made of cross-linked polyolefin. It is UV resistant and halogen-free.
