Product details

The Scotch fiberglass tape 27 withstands a breakdown voltage of 3,000 volts and belongs to insulation class B with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C. This makes it suitable for insulating high-heat-emitting electrical components and as a protective wrap against heat radiation. Like all fiberglass tapes, it is particularly tear and abrasion-resistant, ensuring long functionality even under significant mechanical stress, such as in electric motors. Due to its elasticity, the insulating tape coated with a heat-curing rubber adhesive adapts excellently to various surfaces. At the same time, the printable fabric structure provides excellent absorption of resins and paints.
