The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. Tiger I is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of World War II. It was developed to equip the Wehrmacht's armored divisions with a heavily armored and heavily armed tank, complementing the popular medium tanks Panzer III and Panzer IV, which were no longer able to effectively combat enemy tanks. The main armament consisted of the famous and deadly 88 mm anti-tank gun KwK 36 L/56. Installed in the turret and protected by a heavy 120 mm shield, it was capable of penetrating the armor of any enemy vehicle of its time, even at long distances. It was deployed in all major theaters of operation and actively participated in German military operations in Normandy and on the Western Front. Although the heavy tank faced issues with reliability and deployment, it was always greatly feared in the hands of experienced crews against the Allied forces.
