    New sorting function possible?

Would it be possible to add "Price per TB" as a sorting function for hard disks to the already existing functions (price, name,...)?

    Filter sliders still broken

There is an 11-month old thread below concerning this issue, but this problem has yet to be resolved. When trying to use a slider filter for "storage capacity", the button text remains "Close" and not "Apply Filter" or "Show X Products". Therefore the filter is not applied. Even after waiting for a while for the results to load, it still doesn't work. Also tried to manually enter the the parameters without using the sliders - no luck. I wanted to add a screen capture here, but there doesn't seem to be a way. The problem also exists for other filters of type "Slider" , notably Price. The checkbox filters seem to work fine. Hope you fix this soon. Cheers.

When will Seagate's new 30TB drives finally go on sale?

You can already order the discs on various Asian and American sites. When will they finally be available from you?

Orders for HDDs that are not delivered after months and are simply cancelled...

Hello everyone, has anyone had the same experience? I ordered a promotion during the Christmas period with the information that they will not be delivered until February. As soon as January arrives, the delivery date is postponed to March. Ok, I thought, I can organise/distribute it so that there is still enough time until March. Then at the end of February the delivery is simply cancelled with the reason: "Sold out at third party supplier xxx" which is not true, they are normally available there. Now, after almost 3 months, we are left without a replacement memory and need to take urgent action. Of course, the price has risen, thank you. Surely this can't and shouldn't be the case? What do you think? https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/toshiba-mg10-series-20-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-23132349

Old Seagate discs sold as new (DE only?)

I'm curious to see what Digitec Galaxus' statement is and whether only Galaxus DE is affected. This is a pretty serious scam and apparently many retailers are involved. However this is possible. https://www.computerbase.de/news...

Price per TB filter would be great

For long time offline storage, as a private individual I don't care whether I have 10x 1TB discs or 1x 10TB - a corresponding filter would be great

    Filter according to CMR/SMR

Moin, Would it be possible to create a writing technique filter according to CMR and SMR? After all, you display the data in the overview, but filtering by them is not possible so far.

Filter by storage capacity (not) broken

The filter for the storage capacity of the hard drives is a bit broken: you cannot set an exact capacity range, but the filter jumps to predefined values in the vicinity. For example, I'm looking for hard drives with at least 16TB capacity, but the closest values I can set are 10TB or 20TB. @digitec please fix. That I can only set such values with the slider is okay, but when I manually enter the 16, I want it to filter for at least 16TB. P.S. if you want to search for exactly one storage capacity, you can, you have to enter the same number for both Min and Max, then it won't jump to a value close to it.

    NAS HDD: WD vs. Seagate

Dear Community Next week I will buy a Synology DS1520+ and am currently thinking about which hard drives to add. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/synology-ds1520-0-tb-netzwerkspeicher-13546620 I'm deciding between "Seagate IronWolf" and "WD Red Plus". Do you have any experience with which hard drive is preferable? I would also like to know why you have decided in favour of one or the other. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/seagate-ironwolf-6-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-12559857 https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/wd-red-plus-6-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-14726160 Kind regards CaptnCaillou

    Price per TB

Why did Digitec hide price per TB specifically for HDDs? Other storage items in Storage category still has them. Seems very anti-client approach.

HDD for Laptop Dell Inspiron 1525

Grüezi mitenand, I would like to replace the HDD of my Dell laptop. The original part is a Samsung HM160HI. If possible, I would be interested in at least double the capacity. Is there anything on offer from Digitec for this? Merci ....

    Which HD for Dreambox?

Hello everyone I would like to install a larger hard disk in my DM7080. (14-16 TB) Which models are suitable for this? I once read that NAS hard disks only tolerate a few spin-ups because they are designed for 24-hour operation. I have my doubts about this. What is the difference between NAS disks and Enterprise? Many thanks for your opinions

    PS4 Slim Hard Drive

Good day I want to get a new hard drive for my PS4 Slim. I already bought the FireCuda 2TB, but it was too small and didn't fit. Can anyone please recommend a 2TB hard drive that would fit?

    Chaos

    - Capacity of hard disks partly does not match with filter (1TB disk with filter 0.001TB) - No feature to search for price per TB - Duplicate entries of the same (?) product at different prices (WD Purple)

    Filter option

Hello @digitec, can you please switch on the histogram filter for the hard disk capacity again? The current checkbox jungle for the capacities is idiotic. This cannot have been your intention and must be a mistake.

Thanks for the new feature! Now you can quickly compare the price per capacity! Will it soon also be possible to filter or sort by this?

Where have the filters gone where you can filter between NAS storage, desktop drives, etc.?

I don't know in which area you have saved filter options, but I hope you will restore them! Apparently I'm not the only one who wants the old filters back, so dear Digitec, there is a need for action... https://www.digitec.ch/de...

WD Red vs Ultrastar for NAS

Hello together I have not yet been able to determine the exact difference between Ultrastar disks and Red disks in terms of use in a NAS. Although the Reds are actually optimised for NAS, Ultrastar should also be well protected against vibrations from surrounding disks for use in data centres, or? What speaks against the use of Ultrastars in a NAS?

    Please insert SMR/CMR filter

SMR disks are completely unsuitable for the NAS, so it would be very practical to be able to filter them.

    HDD recommendation 14GB - 20GB

Hello together Which HDD do you recommend as data storage for a desktop PC that is often in use 24/7? Normally I would have gone for a Seagate Baracuda PRO, but I can't find it in the shop anymore. The storage size should be 14GB to 20GB. Thanks

Replacement for WD Red with CMR (SMR or manufacturer mix?)

Hello I am in a dilemma from my point of view. I have a QNAP 8-Bay NAS with 8x 3 TB WD Red (model WD30EFRX, i.e. with CMR). One of them shows SMART warnings Current Pending Sector and Uncorrectable Sector Cound and should be replaced soon. But what do I replace it with? I would actually like to avoid SMR at all costs, but the HDD manufacturers also warn against mixing in several places. I would prefer to replace the hard disk with an Ironwolf NAS, which still seems to me to be the lesser evil, or what do you think? Thanks :)
