Dehumidifier with continuous output and defrost function

Hello. I'm looking for a dehumidifier that can be connected for continuous water output AND a thaw function. The reason is simple: I currently have an appliance whose tank I have to empty very regularly, and whose plate regularly freezes, leading not only to inefficiency but also to a nice puddle of water under the appliance. Despite the 522 products on offer, it's hard to find what I'm looking for. For continuous output, it's pretty clear. The problem is the thaw function... several appliances have this function, but when you look at the instructions, you find for example (Albert Little appliance): "Thaw function: If the room temperature is below 5°C, the dehumidifier will automatically operate in defrost mode". Great: either the description is a load of rubbish, or the function is useless: it doesn't often get below 5°C in the laundry room... Others say 10°C (same problem). Finally, I found the Blaupunkt ADH601 model. But it seems to be the only one in the range of 522 products (and here, the description is, with a home-made translation: the instructions have 14 languages, but not French...): "When the internal temperature of the cold plate reaches a temperature close to 0°C, the appliance automatically starts the defrost mode". Hallelujah! But the choice is limited to 1 appliance... Have other internet users bought or found other models that have the 2 functions requested?

20 litre dehumidifier with Hepa and automatically switched off at night

I'm looking for a fairly fast dehumidifier for my office/bedroom (around 20 litres/24 hours). It should be at least reasonably economical and quiet. It would be nice if it also had something like a hepa filter and if it also switched off automatically overnight (with its own timer or alternatively via an external timer or app, it doesn't matter) Is there such a dehumidifier? My previous fan was the Stadler Form Albert, which dehumidifies quickly and has a built-in timer, but it gets dirty inside very quickly and it keeps restarting, even when the humidity is already much lower than set

    Operation control via home automation

I only want to run the dehumidifier with excess solar power and therefore plan to connect it to my home automation system. How can I see if a device starts automatically as soon as it is supplied with power? Is that standard?

Is there a dehumidifier incl. air purifier?

Unfortunately, I can't even find a combination of dehumidifier and cleaner via Google. Does anyone have a tip?

    New search function

Hello dear Digitec community. I have an idea for a new filter function. Namely whether the device is equipped with a Swiss or foreign plug. These Schuko plugs disfigure the socket, and the import and sale of appliances with non-Swiss plugs has been banned since 2015. These fixed adapters are only tolerated by the ESTI. A little tip: Avoid appliances with Schuko plugs to prevent problems with the ESTI. OK for private use, but the plug is absolutely not suitable for business use. Always have to swap them. Happy working

    Small dehumidifier with hose

I am looking for the smallest possible dehumidifier with a hose instead of a tank, so that I can leave it more or less unattended in the kitchen. Even on holiday. I've only found this one, is it the only one? https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/woods-mdk11-50-m-10-l24h-luftentfeuchter-11000906 Thank you.

    Search dehumidifier

Hello I am looking for a dehumidifier that can bring my room down from almost daily 70% to normal45%. I air more times a day but higrometer always says 60%. So far we have had patex aero but granules last a little more than 1 month (normal lasts 3 months). Please help but too expensive as I need 2 or one that I can place in other rooms.

    How to choose a dehumidifier?

Having recently moved into a home with too much humidity (currently, it is difficult to get below 80% for a long time, despite the air vents), I am now looking for a solution. But I don't know anything about it, what to look for? What characteristics are important? Something to avoid? Any advice on a model with good value for money? I'd love any advice.

Switching the dehumidifier on/off via the power socket

I would like to be able to start and stop a dehumidifier via a socket that can be controlled by radio. Is there such a thing? From what I have seen, most of them have soft start buttons. Best thanks

    Energy-saving dehumidifier for cellars

I am looking for a dehumidifier for a basement room of 20m2. Which model does that with the lowest possible power consumption?

Dehumidifier Home Gym in the basement

Good day! I have set up a home gym in our basement room, a good 25 m^2. The room has only one small window. During intensive workouts, the humidity gets so high due to perspiration on my part that the window lights up. The weight plates and bars are even getting a bit rusty. I think a dehumidifier would be a good idea. What kind would you suggest? I don't have to dehumidify a whole building and I like to have some humidity left over for training, otherwise it gets a bit dry... ;-) Thank you very much for a short feedback!

    Dehumidifier

I am looking for a mini dehumidifier that runs without a mains cable. (rechargeable) Unfortunately, the Damp Kontrol doesn't work and the silicate part from Sonnenkönig doesn't make sense for high humidity. Is there anything else?

    Humidity 14 percent

I need a humidity of 14 per cent or less at a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius in a room with an area of 15 m2 and a height of 2.8 metres. The current humidity in the room is 46 per cent and is relatively stable. Is there a solution for this? Most units only go down to 30 per cent humidity.

    Dehumidifier or clothes air dryer?

We have bought an old house and would like to hang and dry the laundry in the laundry room. Unfortunately, the cellar is too damp for the laundry to dry by itself. A "dehumidifier" is needed. There are small, mobile dehumidifiers and large, expensive laundry air dryers. Who has had experience? Is a small mobile dehumidifier enough or do we have to invest in a large, expensive appliance? What about efficiency and electricity costs?
