You do not get any software on CD/DVD, but only a plastic card with a product key printed on it. You must link this key to a Microsoft account online in order to be able to download and install the purchased software on your own device. The installed software must be activated online with the (new, converted!) product key visible in the Microsoft account. The whole process is unnecessarily time-consuming. The assumption is that M$ is no longer interested in these one-time purchase versions of Office, but only wants to get rid of Office365 rental versions in annual subscriptions.
