Question about Ring starter kit

Apart from that, version 2 and version 1 are more or less the same. At most, the smaller detectors will come, although we don't have the same Z-Wave frequency in Europe as in the USA.

Version 2 is not coming to Europe. The 2nd version has permanently installed buttons with which the police or fire brigade can be called directly. In Switzerland and the EU, this is only allowed for professionally installed alarm systems with connection to an alarm centre (monopoly protection...) This is also the reason why in Europe "only" fixed telephone numbers may be called in the event of an alarm and not the Ring alarm centre. Without a professional and expensive alarm system, no alarm centres are allowed.
