Question about Elari KidPhone 3G GPS Tracker

Just gave away registering the device: Have inserted the SIM card (M-Budget Mobile) but the barcode does not appear, instead a yellow screen says "Position Uploading". Does anyone know the problem? What is the cause?

Quote from the user guide:
"Before installing a SIM card, disable the PIN code request using your phone (link to manual)".

Exit "Position Uploading" --> Factory Reset --> Insert SIM card --> Reboot (red button).
Hold the Alarm button until a menu with many test functions appears. Scroll down and click on "Factory Reset". Insert the unlocked SIM card, wait until it is recognised and press the red button to reboot.

I don't know the problem that way. But we had to try several times before it worked. Another disadvantage of the clock is that when the battery is completely discharged, you always have to re-enter the sim pin. That is tedious. All in all, I think the TCL Move Familyqwatch is much better. Unfortunately, it was no longer available anywhere until further notice.
