Digitus 4-port SATA 3 PCI-E card
Can 2 of these cards be connected at the same time?
Hello - I also have an older mainboard that does not yet have a SATA 3 and USB 3.0 interface. So I bought an adapter card like this once. I'm not sure if it was this one. You can connect two hard drives, but they are shared with the ext. USB 3.0 ports. I noticed this when I connected everything, and suddenly one HDD was no longer visible in Explorer. You also have to be careful if you let Windows 10 control the driver updates. Suddenly something doesn't work anymore and always exactly when there was a Win update. It is best to deactivate it and save yourself the trouble!
I'll put it this way: at some point you'll have to get a new PC.
But all the installations, configurations and adjustments take a lot of time. Furthermore, you lose the Windows 10 licence if the PC has been upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro for free!
Tinkering is fun.........

Yes, of course. Each card simply needs a PCI slot. If you have two free ones, that's no problem.
