I was wondering if this switch is really a Gigabit switch (given its name, power consumption and price).

Perfect, thanks for the answer! I'm going to plug in 2 computers, SwisscomTV2 and a WiFi terminal. We'll see if it holds up. The advantage, besides the consumption and the price: all the plugs are at the back.
It is a Gigabit switch, hence the "G" in the name, but it is very basic and is intended for private use or small businesses.
