Intel Core i5-8600K
LGA 1151, 3.60 GHz, 6 -Core
I have noticed that the cores can have different clock frequencies, i.e. that not all cores (have to) have the same clock. This means that 6 cores can practically run at 6 different clock speeds. I have CPU-Z and CPUID HWMonitor. Unfortunately I don't find much about this topic on the internet? And why does the PC sometimes not do this at all,... does this have to do with the turbo mode? Because it goes above 3.6 GHz on some cores, yet the load is not high or at 2%.... This is the first time I've seen that 3 or 4 different clock speeds (can) run at the same time.
