Question about Meta Quest 2 Elite Strap with Battery
More and more reports are coming in that this Elite Battery Strap is breaking very quickly. That the plastic holder breaks. There are a few reports about this in the Occulus Reddit and on YouTube. Is there a reaction from Oculus? Would I be well advised to cancel the order and wait?
Has anyone here been able to find out anything from Digitec? Otherwise, write to the customer service directly.
You can no longer order the straps from Oculus either. I think they have recognised it as a problem. What should purchasers do here @Digitec? Are we now getting a "remaining stock" with a risk of breakage or are you waiting for the new revision before sending it out?

I'll wait until this week. If you find out anything from Digitec and let me know, that would be great. Otherwise, I will probably cancel and then order again when Oculus reacts here / improves the devices.

The same for the Elite belt without battery, an answer on this would be very nice.
@All. As of today, we have never received an official statement from Oculus. Even when asked, Oculus officially knows nothing... I don't know if we have just been lucky so far, or if the delivery was not affected. So far only 1% of all orders have been returned. However, if such a mishap should occur, please contact us immediately. You will then be sent a new Elite strap. (As soon as they are available). Sorry I can't tell you more... Greetings Yannick
