Question about Philips Hue Outdoor Lightstrip

Good evening, I am new to the Hue universe and already very excited. I am toying with the idea of mounting this light strip on my balcony railing. The only problem is that I would need about 10m. That's why I'm thinking of buying 2 Lightstrips and a T-piece. Shouldn't that work? I only have one socket and of course it is in a corner...🙈

Helpful answer

Your neighbours won't be too happy about it, because when the brightness is at 100%, it's very bright...:-) I have programmed a routine with my google home that is switched on at sunset and switched off at sunrise. Cool thing...

There is a 100 Watt outdoor power supply unit that has two direct outputs, so you don't need a T-piece. Since the single power supply unit of the 5m light strip has 40 watts, it is possible to operate two 5m strips without any problems. I have not seen this power supply at Digitec yet, but there are other Swiss suppliers.

@ Wiiihiii

Sorry how does this work with Google Home?
I'm an Apple disciple...currently the lights go on when I come home, but of course they shouldn't in the summer.

Regarding light strips; I was aware of that. I just wanted to know if it works with a T-piece.

Welcome to the Hue world... :-) I am also an absolute Hue fan. I was also interested in your question because my balcony railing is 7m long. According to this site, an extension is not possible: https://www.smartlights.de/licht....
So you would have to buy two.
