Question about Reolink Argus 2

It would be important for me to know whether the camera can be operated via a permanent power supply? It says in the specs that no mains operation is possible - but in another forum I read that a USB port is hidden behind the battery. Does anyone know more?

I am satisfied with the picture quality. It records when and what it should. But after only 4 metres, I have very little Wi-Fi reception, even though other devices are still "kicking out". Is this a defect or normal?

The Reolink 2 has a mini USB connection at the back. I have already used it directly with the supplied 1m charging cable over a longer period of time with an established connection, so a permanent power supply should be possible. However, this is not recommended outdoors, as the connection is certainly not waterproof and interference is inevitable.
I have used one camera so far and I am very enthusiastic. Simple set-up, good workmanship, best picture quality, alarm function, etc. simply top.
