We're using it as a media center in the living room. Right after unboxing, we plugged a bootable USB key and installed Ubuntu. Not a single issue, 12 minutes later the OS was fully installed and patched. The disk performance is okay for regular media files but it makes the OS a little irresponsive. We added an M.2. disk the next day thanks to the hardware maintenance guide provided by Lenovo. Upgrade took 25 minutes total. now it's a perfect media machine.
EDIT: On Ubuntu, the integrated ethernet port sticks to 100mbps. Lenovo support refuses to help because I removed Windows, I removed Windows immediately upon arrival so I don't know it the gigabit interface can actually operate at 1gbps. I purchased a gigabit USB-ethernet key and gigabit speed reached flawlessly.

Why would someone buy a Windows PC and install trash like Ubuntu. But hey, if it makes you happy.
