nice to look at, but impractical
The display is far too bright for the bedroom, even on the darkest of the three levels.
Without instructions, you have absolutely no chance of setting the alarm time. There doesn't seem to be a button/switch with which you can easily turn one of the alarm times on and off. I am not thrilled when I need an introductory course from someone who has read the instructions just to operate an alarm clock.
On the other hand, I find the option that the alarm clock only rings on weekdays practical.
