Excellent Synology support before ordering. I had a DS207 that had become obsolete. In a very short time I installed the disks extracted from the DS207 into the DS218. I did not lose any data and everything was done automatically.
The installation of HD is done without a screwdriver. You open the clipped front panel, take out the rails and the disks are installed without a screwdriver.
