The power supply and output filter utilize high-quality capacitors and filters that have been selected based on extensive listening tests. The speakers of the MCR-N570D feature a 12 cm woofer and a 3 cm soft dome tweeter. The woofer is an A-PMD woofer (Advanced Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm), a smaller version of the woofer found in Yamaha's high-end speaker series "Soavo." The white diaphragm symbolizes Yamaha's excellent sound quality. To prevent unwanted cabinet resonances, Yamaha has developed the VCCS system (Vibration Control Cabinet Structure), which uses strategically placed composite material components to efficiently isolate vibrations. Additionally, the three stand feet absorb shock waves, further enhancing sound quality. The high-quality, screw-type speaker terminals are gold-plated.
