    Fast + Practical

    Great machine! Works with DSM 7 and from there seems really fast. 6 SSDs in Raid F1. 5 SSDs in Raid 0! That's really fast. Only the connection defines the transfer speed.

    Powerful NAS that is absolutely worth the money.

    I've had the NAS since last November and am very satisfied with the performance of the FS1018 (especially with virtualisation). I run it with 7 x 1 TB Samsung SSDs and 32 GB RAM. The question of SSD cache yes or no is superfluouswith this model. I will soon connect the NAS with 10 Gbit, I'm curious to see whether this will be of any use. In any case, by far my best NAS (after DS412+, DS716+ and DS918+), I can recommend it 100%.

    Powerful thing

    I am very satisfied with the performance of the Flashstation. The more compact design, thanks to 2.5" slots, also makes the station less clunky.

    I can only recommend it to anyone who also wants to run a VM on it or simply    wants a lot of performance.
